Catherine was looking so forward to our vacation this year. She would ask me as we were preparing to go, "Mama, are we gonna relax?" She loves quiet time and freedom to enjoy whatever is happening in the moment. She seemed to especially soak up time with Brian while we were away... at the pool she was constantly hanging on him. She loved looking for sea shells and was always up for a little shopping with me. I think she would've been fine with riding bikes the whole time we were there, could've just parked the car and not gotten back in it. I really enjoyed watching Catherine and Benjamin together... seemed like the Lord was giving me little glimpses of the sweet friendship they will share as they get a little older.
